This is a Government of Singapore website.

Where appropriate, we may use and/or share necessary data with other Government Agencies, so as to improve the discharge of public functions, and to serve you in the most efficient and effective way unless such use/sharing is prohibited by law.
We may share your personal data with non-Government entities that have been authorised to carry out specific Government services, or for the purposes of investigations or prosecutions, or compliance with the Online Safety (Relief and Accountability) Act 2025 or other applicable laws, or for the OSC to resolve your case. We will NOT share your personal data with other non-Government entities without your consent except where such sharing complies with the law.
For your convenience, we may also display data you had supplied us or other Government Agencies. This will speed up the transaction and save you the trouble of repeating previous submissions. Should the data be out-of-date, please supply us the latest data.
We may contact you through the contact number or email address you supply us for the purposes of obtaining more information from you about your case, or to provide updates to you on your case. This will allow us to review your case more expediently and inform you if there are developments in your case.
By making a report with the OSC, you consent to the OSC retaining your personal data and any other collected data from you for as long as it is necessary for records, legal, investigation, or official purposes, such as to assess and to take appropriate actions to address your report. You may withdraw your consent for us to collect, use or disclose your personal data by giving us reasonable written notice. Please note that if you choose to do so, the OSC may not be able to continue to assess or act on your report made to the OSC.
If you are a minor making a report with the OSC, where appropriate, we may use necessary data to contact relevant third parties (including but not limited to your parents, guardian, or school) about your report. This may be necessary for the OSC to address your case, or for the purposes of counselling, redress or prevention.
Protection of Data
To safeguard your personal data, all electronic storage and transmission of personal data is secured with appropriate security technologies.
Our digital services may contain links to non-Government digital services whose data protection and privacy practices may differ from ours. We are not responsible for the content and privacy practices of these other digital services and we encourage you to consult the privacy notices of those digital services.
